Embrace yourself in the natural setting and share my experience withthe new curved-stem pipe a fan gave me. I am so involved in smoking mynew pipe that I hardly say a word, which is very rare for me. I ampreoccupied in that special meditation known only to pipe smokers. Ilove the ritual of filling the bowl. I delight in the sweet aromathat surrounds me as I relax and contemplate the look and feel of the pipe.I love the taste of the thick, creamy smoke as I french inhale and theway it looks in my stream and nostril exhales. I playfully blow smokerings.
Some of you have been wondering why I hold the pipe by the steminstead of cradling the bowl in my hand. I start out cradling thebowl, but I puff so fast and furiously that the bowl gets too hot tohold that way before long. I suppose that may be sacrilegious tosome, but I just love smoking a pipe so much I can't help myself.
